Vision AUS#232 Experimental Aircraft
Updated
( So you know how old this stuff is 20/4/09 )

Builder: Peter Faithfull ,
Age 51 Years
Yarra Glen, Victoria. Australia,

The design has been constructed by first time builders to test the construction manuals
and no construction manuals were sold until testing of the prototype was completed.

You can purchase the plans and complete at your own pace .

============================================================================

There is a world wide group of fellow builders

This sport was built on plans built aircraft and they are still the safest bet.

The Vision is a 100% Plans Built 2 Seat Composite
Epoxy /Foam /Fibreglass
Sports Low Wing Aircraft capable of Aerobatic Flight +6g -4g

--- non canard- platform--

The Vision is an economical,
2 seat, all composite aircraft that is 100% built from
PROVEN
construction manuals.

In the Beginning you need a place to build your Vision.
This hanger I designed to house AUS#232 during construction
and to be relocated to an airfield to house the plane for initial flight testing
a portable cost effective solution.

10mtr X 7mtre steel tube and poly ethelyne tarpaulin.

It's been here for 5 years and still good as the day it went up.

Year round weather protection with ambient solar heating .
winter 15 c , summer flaps closed a great 45 c + for curing .

VISION
100% plans hand built low wing construction in composite materials

THIS PROJECT
Construction began of Vision #232 in January 2003.

After looking closely at alternative aircraft I settled on the VISION due to it's utility.
The Visions ability to come over the fence a around 65 kts and settle at 48 kts
became a major factor as the type's of airfields here in Australia will be grass.

You can read more on the designers site.

UPDATED 20/4/09

Lower wing glassed / Wing fitted to fuselage / Fuel bays about to be closed out
